Shore Acres Elementary School

FleischmanGarciaMaslowski designed this $11,357,157 project for Pinellas County School Board. The project comprised 72,000 sq. ft. of new construction providing administration areas, classrooms, a cafetorium, a multi-purpose room, music, art, and PE spaces. This project also included 12,800 sq. ft. of renovations to the existing media center and ESE buildings. In addition, FleischmanGarciaMaslowski completed the site work for new athletic fields, playgrounds, parking, bus, and parent pick-up loops. FGM raised the site above the 100-year flood plain in this low-lying area of northeast St. Petersburg, correcting the school's chronic flooding problem.
